Application for change of GE and AECC

BA/BSc 1st Semester students who wish to change their Generic Elective (GE) subject and/or their Ability Enhancement Compulsory Course (AECC) may apply by filling up the form in the following link:

Students who are satisfied with the currently allotted GE/AECC need not apply.
The GE allotment is for 1st and 2nd semesters. Students may apply for change in 3rd semester.

The criteria for Generic Elective subject are:

   1.    The GE must be a subject different from the honours subject.
   2.    Eligibility for GE      
          Botany, Zoology                -  Pass in Class XII Biology 
          Chemistry                          -  Pass in Class XII Chemistry                                   
          Mathematics, Statistics     -  Pass in Class XII Mathematics                                          
          Physics                               -  Pass in Class XII Physics

         No eligibility requirement for Anthropology, Computer Science, English, Geography, Geology, Tenyidie, NCC.

Instructions for filling up the form

1. All details must be filled in correctly.
2. The student is to fill in 8 unique preferences for GE. Filling in 5 preferences is compulsory.
3. Any form incorrectly filled in will not be entertained.
4. The last date for submission of the form is 12 August 2020.
5. No college official should be contacted regarding change of GE/AECC.

The GE and AECC will be allotted as follows:

1. The allotment of AECC will be as per the choice given.
2. The allotment of GE will be based on availability and merit. Note that you may be allotted a GE subject other than the preferences that you enter.
3. The final allotment will be published on the college website on 13 August 2020.
4. The decision of the Admission Committee will be final.
