The annual Spring fest under the theme “Go for Win” was organized by the Students Body, KSCJ from 28th to 31st March 2022. Dr. Hovithal Sothu, Project Director TaFMA was the Chief Guest. A number of games and sports activities involving all the students of both Under-Graduate and Post Graduate were carried out during this 4day long event.
The 20th Biennial General Conference of the All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) was held at Kohima Science College. - 22 & 23 October 2021
REPUBLIC DAY CAMP 2020
Ms. Philomina Rutsa (L) won 3rd position in extempore speech competition for college students Organized by the Office of the Principal Accountant General, Kohima, Nagaland on 24th November 2021
Ms. Menou Sami of the unit attended the national camp from 1st Jan to 31st Jan which was held in Delhi. There was final selection for the Rajpath march 2020 on 8th Jan 2020. All together 144 cadets from all over the country were selected to march at Rajpath on 26th Jan 2020 Indian Republic Day. Ms. Menou Sami of Kohima Sicence College Jotsoma was selected for the march representing NER Directorate.
Champions of Female and Male Basketball team from KSCJ, during the Basketball Tournament 2019, at Immanuel College Dimapur, 26th-27th Nov.
Southhampton IUCAA Training for astronomical Research and Education (SITARE), sponsored by the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), United Kingdom, was held from 2nd May, 2018-4th May, 2018 at Tezpur University. The students viz; Mr. Antidong Jamir (M.Sc 1st Semester), Vibiezotuo (M.Sc 1st Semester) and Keyisilungbe (M.Sc 1st Semester) were selected from the college to attend the workshop, on the basis of their academic performance.
On the culmination of the 3 days Workshop, two of the students viz; Mr. Antidong Jamir and Mr. Vibiezotuo were selected and given the prestigious opportunity to attend the Advanced Workshop on Astrophysics at the Inter-University Centre for Astronomy Workshop and Astrophysics (IUCAA), Pune, India which was held from 10th January, 2019 to 16th January, 2019.
